The above problem is CR 6783995. The fix was delivered in build 119.
What build are you using?
There is also an open RFE: 6802760 zfs could have better support for
non-ascii and non-UTF codesets
We'll look at the data that you sent and try to identify the root cause.
There has been some work done in this area recently so it may already be
fixed ;-)
