Joining <domain> ... this may take a minute ... failed to join <domain>: UNSUCCESSFUL Please refer to the system log for more information. dmesg shows: Nov 3 19:07:42 csearch smbd[3633]: [ID 232655 daemon.notice] ldap_modify: Insufficient access Nov 3 19:07:42 csearch smbd[3633]: [ID 702911 daemon.notice] Failed to modify the workstation trust account. Nov 3 19:07:42 csearch smbd[3633]: [ID 871254 daemon.error] smbd: failed joining <domain> (UNSUCCESSFUL) The error messages are the same as another user reported previously: http://opensolaris.org/jive/thread.jspa?messageID=389721 In the above thread, a work-around is mentioned for a known bug: 6807827 Domain Users cannot join the system to an AD domain But if I was previously able to join successfully, what is there to 'work-around'? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
