hello Afshin for exmple: i have a cifs-shared zfs folder with file permissions that allow everyone to modify files.
now i want to set acls on sharelevel, so that - everyone but root (ad-user mapped to root) can only read the files on this share or - only root (ad-user mapped to root) or another ad-domain-user/group can access the share, no others should be allowed. -> without change file permissions on the share like i do it with a windows server with their share-acls. effective user permission could here not be greater than either share od folder acls. but i could not reach this in my tests with nexenta. guenther -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
