Hi Folks, I have upgraded from opensolaris snv_134 to solaris 11 express and converted from samba to CIFS in my home (WORKGROUP ONLY) environment.
I am having authentication issues from some windows7 x86 and x64 clients to the file server. I cant pin down the difference in the times it is working and not working. The shares are all readable by anyone but only specific users can write. I want the windows user name/passwd to be used as the solaris user name for mappings (1to1 mapping). My question is, from the cifs server side, how can i debug the authentication process in the solaris 11 express cifs implementation as I have done in the past with samba (using smbd -SFI -d3).
