I've got a strange unkillable smbd proces, though perhaps for a different reason. I can see it in ps (flagged as sleeping), and kmdb's ::ps, it exists in /proc/, I can send a signal to it using kill, but proc tools like pflags report "cannot examine 20663: no such process" and neither mdb nor dbx can attach to it. SMF thinks the service is still online. If there's a way to avoid a reboot, I'm all ears :-) Chris _______________________________________________ cifs-discuss mailing list cifs-discuss@opensolaris.org http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/cifs-discuss
