Hello,

have you tried starting cinelerra from a console? usually the console
displays the output and warning and errors, like e.g. the ones printed
by mpeg2enc.

(just a question: are you sure mpeg2enc.plugin is located in
your /usr/local/lib/cinelerra directory?)
