Hello,

have you tried starting cinelerra from a console? usually the console
displays the output and warning and errors, like e.g. the ones printed
by mpeg2enc.

Now we are a big closer...

(just a question: are you sure mpeg2enc.plugin is located in
your /usr/local/lib/cinelerra directory?)

Hmm, mpeg2enc.plugin is in /usr/lib/cinelerra like all the other *.plugin files.

But when starting cinelerra i get a message
PluginServer::open_plugin: /usr/lib/cinelerra/mpeg2enc.plugin: Can´t load the programm dynamically

Thanks,

BF.

Hello,

I wanted to render a video (only the video) using the "MPEG Video" format to fit for DVD (MPEG2).

But it doesn´t care which settings i try cinelerra always reports
"Error rendering file" after about 5 seconds after Rendering starts.

I was wondering if there is some log file where i could check why Rendering aborts.

Thanks,
BF.
