oi andre, tudo bem! I think libquicktime is for mov handling, and has nothing to do with the problem. i can open ogg/vorbis and ogg/theora files here. i'm using the latest packages for slackware: cinelerra-20060221-i386-1rd and the libraries at http://slack.sarava.org/packages/slackware/slackware-10.2/multimedia/cinelerra/2.0-cvs/
