just upgraded to amd64 x2 and was trying to load the hdv testfile
surfing-PP1-on-then-off.m2t
<http://cvs.cinelerra.org/footage/surfing-PP1-on-then-off.m2t>,
from the cinelerra-cvs homepage. cine does not recognize the format
& i
just get some static sound and no video.
does the file has to be re-encoded into some other format - and if
yes -
which one?
No, the format is MPEG2, and Cinelerra recognises it if you change the
suffix to .mpeg instead of .m2t.
yeah, that works.
but why does the quality looks so bad compared to
playing it in mplayer for example?
What quality problem are you thinking of? Are you viewing the image
at 100% size?

yes, i'm. how could i set the compositor window to display the whole
frame & not
only a center part like under 100% or auto? ( the frames are displayed
correctly in the
main window...)
thanks!
