Peace, friends... I do not claim, that I understand perfectly what is going on here. However I do assume that everyone on this list would wish to have as great, nice and bug-free Cinelerra as possible so we can create great videos with it.
I'd say that is the essence we can all agree with, regardles of the methodology. So why not take that essence and help each other to do the best, each in our way and with our own abilities... Still I am happy to have heard from HV member. I'd like to ask a question if it is not too much... If I understand correctly, the main reason for cinelerra not to become more widespread (e.g. included in various distros) is the lack of GPL/LGPL licences in huge part of it's files. Is it not possible to licence these files? / Is there a good reason not to licence them? (I'd be ready to help...)
