While trying to compile r836 under Ubuntu I got the following error ../../hvirtual/quicktime/qth264.c:472: error: 'struct <anonymous>' has no member named 'b_cbr' Looks like b_cbr is a member of a fuction/structure which determines whether constant bitrate is to be used, but I got no further than this. I found though one manual on the net which suggests me to compile x264 and not use the Ubuntu package. But this was for 64bit processors (I use 32 bit - manual says 32bit ubuntu should work with no problem). Does anyone know/remembers how to solve this? I could on the other hand also comment out the parts of the code in question, but... I'd rather not do that. All the best!
