(i think never set time my new cameras)

Hello People,
Since Cinelerra doesn't seem to capture and we're using Kino for that,
I figure a question about Kino isn't too off topic. Now this may be my
fault, but I forgot to set the date and time on my new JVC GR D750U
video camera. (I intended to use it for a tape deck, but took it out
for some documentary work yesterday).
Previously, stuff shot with a Sony PD 150 was loaded by my JVC through
Kino flawlessly, with valuable help from this group. Would the absence
of a date and/or time prevent capture by Kino.
Interestingly enough I can see the video on the computer and hear the
audio through my sound system while I am attempting to capture, but I
see no icons in the storyboard and I don't get anything saved when I try
to do that.
Please tell me I'm stupidly doing something wrongly and this footage
can be saved.

Warmest Regards,
Fred Williams
