I can confirm this bug. It's still there in the AMD-64 build for Debian from
February 19th.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Load an MPEG-TS file (example file
http://www.nuug.no/pub/herman/debconf5/dc5-hd-greeting.m2t, rename it to
something.mpeg)
2) Drag it into the viewer, and play from start; it plays OK
3) Drag the time slider a few seconds into the video; the playback is only 2
fps
The same happens on the timeline. When played from the start of the timeline,
the video is fine. Place the cursor elsewhere, and start playback: only 2 fps.
