Sorry its take a while to reply - I have been away on business for the 
latter part of the week.

I am not sure I can find the original article - it was in the Cinelerra 
Mailing list archive.  I repeated the google search I thought I used 
and it didn't come up.  However the following did - and it says almost 
the same thing
