yes cinelerra's video output can go to both raw 1394 and dv 1394. neither of them did work here.
I tried it myself once, it worked fine -> from cinelerra back to a dv cam. From there, you shouldn't have problems sending to a tv, as you've already made it. The "secret" was that, when the module dv1394 comes up, it comes as /dev/dv1394/0, so you'll have to add the "/0" manually there.
