One idea is (1) a rendering option to render to a 'metaclip' and then (2) using the metaclip as an input on a second timeline. The first step is like rendering in a lossless codec except no rendering takes place at this stage, it all happens in the second step.
This would make it a lot simpler to manage complex editing and compositing sequences without losing any quality resolution. One can re-edit the metaclip without impacting other parts of the resulting video. This is a concept taken from blender that might be useful for Cinelerra in a future interface enhancement. -- Regards, Martin ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) IT: http://methodsupport.com Personal: http://thereisnoend.org
