Hey all,

I'm using cinelerra to create video documentation of an art project. I'm
using a lot of titles to describe the project and various parts. Problem
is that I seem to be wasting a lot of time adding titles to the video
track:

1. Drag the "title" effect from the "video effects" panel to the video
track.
2. Zoom all the way out
3. Scale back the title so that it does not last the whole length of the
track (in time).
4. Edit text
5. Drag the title to the appropriate place.

Is there a way I can specify the default length of a title effect?
(rather than the length of the whole track)? or a quick way to resize it
in time to a particular length?

Or is there some way I could duplicate just the title and have the
duplicated version appended after the source title. That way I could do
the same thing above with these steps:

1. click on source title effect
2. "duplicate"
3. edit the text of the duplicated title.

Really the zooming and resizing for every title I add is the problem.

Any tips appreciated.

B. Bogart
