Hi Christoph, I also just completed a fresh install of Fedora 7, 64-bit (for some reason, they dropped the Core). It went well, outside of the fact that the installer didn't like three of my DVDs (sha1sum kept giving me different results for each 3GB download..weird). My instructions for installing the dependent programs for building Cinelerra from source on Fedora Core 6 still hold up for F7: http://crazedmuleproductions.blogspot.com/2007/03/fedora-core-6-cinelerra-dependencies.html
With slight tweaks for F7, 64-bit http://crazedmuleproductions.blogspot.com/2007/09/building-cinelerra-on-fc6-64-bit.html scott -------------- Original message ---------------------- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > I haven't dug through the archives, but I thought I'd post up my recent > experience with installing FC7 and cinelerra from freshrpms. > > ------ > > I managed to get cinelerra 2.1 running on FC7 without too much pain.
