Christophe, I was and am running CVS version of Cinelerra, compiled from source on both the older 32-bit and newer 64-bit systems. These are recent versions of the source..within the last few months.
I chose to do a clean install of F7 as opposed to upgrading FC6. Since the F7 system was a clean install (file systems were formatted), Cinelerra had to rebuild the indexes and MPEG2 table of contents again when I loaded up an older project originally created on 32-bit. The project played just fine in 64-bit, though I haven't done much editing to it to really test 32-to-64 bit. One thing I noticed on my new box is that the table of contents creation program (mpeg3toc) doesn't take advantage of multiple CPUs. Ah well. scott _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
