- From my own experience with GPU programming, the problems in the past were getting the rendered data back from the GPU. Are these problem currently solved? I mean: Is it possible to make OpenGL and export it as DV, maybe even encoded at GPU level ;) But I was thinking about OpenGL framebuffer rendering -> bitmap -> encoder.
