Hi there, I'm having some issues rendering my project to a final video
file. it just seems impossible to render it in the proper ratio.

My captured.dv file is in "raw dv" format, frame size is 1024x756
pixels. I can open this file with cinelerra and work with it, not
problem at all - I see the result in real time nice and perfect.

I do some typical effects (scaling and contrast/brightness), plus a few
texts and some audio content.

Now I select the render option because i want to export my project to a
single video file.

the first problem is:

I can't export to raw dv - an error message appears ("raw DV format does
not support following resolution 1024x576 framerate: 25. Allowed
resolutions are 720x5786 25fps (PAL)"
Now I don't understand that this format is not supported since my
captured footage does have that format exactly as the camera.

Exporting to other formats (MP2, Quicktime4Linux, etc.) does render the
video at 1024x756 but with black bars at the left and right the screen.

Changing the projects settings to 720x576 (that is 4:3 I think) allows
me to export to raw dv, but the video is reduced horizontally to 720
pixels.

these are my "settings -> set format" values:

Frame rate: 25.0000
Width : 1024
Height : 576
W/H Ratio: 1/1
Color model: RGB 8 bit
Aspect Ratio 16:9

Can somebody explain what to do please? I just tried with many
combinations and ways and I'm still unable to render.

thanks in advance everyone
