I hope the voting will use condorcet or some other weighted method. «Normal» voting is so extremely flawed and can very often lead to another result than we really would like. :-)

Look at projects like Blender, Firefox and Linux; they are very successful and have great names. I'm hoping for a *professional* video editor that shines *quality*. So, as the marketing-guy said earlier; it's a smart move to give it a good name that isn't restricted by a «need» to say what the software does. Many of the «restricted» names are (in my own opinion) boring; MovieEdit or OpenCut isn't really all that sexy. :-) -- Beste helsing, Odin Hørthe Omdal <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> http://www.velmont.net _______________________________________________ Cinelerra mailing list [email protected] https://init.linpro.no/mailman/skolelinux.no/listinfo/cinelerra
