A logo should
- build the "brand"
- be somewhat unique, recognisable
- be scalable (work in small sizes, yet look good in large)
- bonus: work in pure black/white (no requirement for something that
almost always appears on a colour screen, but it usually gives some
flexibility and makes it obvious how strong the shape is)

The name Lumiera is a nod to history and has a soft sound. This points
to a traditional and light-handed approach to typography (there should
be a logotype, logo optional).

On the other hand, it shall be a modern, cutting-edge application (or
even framework?) that is much about precision and performance.

I'd like to hear some thoughts where the logotype and maybe logo should
be between these poles, or if you think I'm way off ;)

More generally: what should be expressed (prioritised)?

References that come to mind:
- Camera (what type, though?)
- Filmstrip
- Clapperboard
- What ever it is that has been used to cut movies

Which of these would you like to be used or avoided?
(Using none is clearly an option.)
