Hello, Roland, I make another file, with no sound. I got a 16 sec, 18Mb file. Still crashing...
I got some info using MPlayer. I also put this file at http://rapidshare.com/files/124208824/test-0000.mpeg . Could you see if you can load it? Playing test-0000.mpeg. AVI file format detected.
