Hi Roland,

Maybe Adams is right: "You need a double dual core Opteron with 4 Gig RAM" to work correctly with these types of medias.

Can I know the configuration of your machine? I have a Sempron 3000+ 1,8GHz 1,2 Gio of RAM.

I tested it on a AMD 64 Mobile (Pre-Turion64) with 2 Gigs of Ram... not really faster than yours I think. But I can test it on a BE-2400 Dualcore with 4 gigs tomorrow - but I don't really think its only a performance-issue...

So my conclusion is : If your computer is slow like mine, You should consider to work with proxy files (http://cvs.cinelerra.org/docs/wiki/doku.php?id=english_manual:cinelerra_cv_en_21#hdv_1080i_editing_using_proxy_files) if you want to use Cinelerra. And if you really want to work with hd format. Well, I don't know how it works but it seems to be the way to go.

Didn't know this is working... Does it work 'flawlessy'?

Uli
