Maybe in the future Lumiera would have to think about a sort of automatic process to reduce the ressources needed to edit large video files with high bitrates. Automatic proxy process that keep your computer up to edit whatever media inserted in the software. To edit (cut/paste) hd videos you don't really need the original material. Adding video effects and making color corrections are the real problems.
