Hi Daniel, I installed cinelerra back when etch was testing, it continued to work while etch was stable but not when I upgraded to lenny.
Turns out that the issue I'm having *is* solved by running cinelerra with sudo. Anyone have any idea why this is? I also tried the cinelerra4 package you mentioned, which has the same issue with locking up when being run as a normal user. Well I'm up and running again.
