Nicolas,
I just got hit with the following pulseaudio bug that stutters your audio:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=462200

Which took all night to figure out, of course. Argh. Watch out, Fedora 10,
x86-64 users. Between that bug and numerous security tightenings, Fedora 10 is
starting to stick in my craw.

The solution to the problem is to either:
1) yank out pulseaudio (yum remove pulseaudio) or
2) if you still want to run pulse audio, follow the directions in Leigh's post
here:
http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showpost.php?p=1119512&postcount=41

I simply removed it.

Does anyone know if pulseaudio actually provides any benefits over ALSA?
scott
