The installation instructions for Fedora in the Wiki and on the web
page seem to be out of date. The latest distro version mentioned is
F9, whose end-of-life date passed in June. Freshrpms has been merged
into RPM Fusion, which does not carry Cinelerra for the current Fedora
versions. There are packages in the ATrpms repo, but at least for F12,
rendering seems to be very broken (neither YUV4MPEG streams nor direct
MPEG rendering work). ATrpms conflicts extensively with RPM Fusion,
which is a problem, because most users who deal with multimedia are
likely going to need RPM Fusion at some point.

It looks tome like the users of current Fedora versions (12 and 11)
are pretty much out of luck as far as precompiled, working RPMs go. Or
am I missing something?

(I tried to edit the Wiki, but I seem to be unable to log in and
unable to get a password reminder.)
