I'm running cinelerra cv 2.1 akirad on ubuntu 10.04
rushes come from HDV 1080i acquisition (record) by kino en dv via i-link
Formatting in cinelerra is 720x576 ; H and W ratios are 1 and aspect
ratio is 16/9, not interlaced
when i render my work i get format not defined and the players use 4/3
format automatically so the image is deformed.
If i use VLC i can put the view format to 16/9 manually and everything
is ok.
But I would like it to be done automatically.
This means format has to be defined while rendering with cinelerra which
is not the case for the moment.
Is someone knows why and is there any way to define formats properly for
the rendering.
Note : I don't have this probleme with kino when i read or editor render
i got the right format = 16/9.

One more word. I read some un pleasant remarks about cinelerra. I just
wanted to say that it's unfair. Since i work with cinelerra (2 years) i
never lost a project even when it crashes ( when using several tracks
and effects mostly because i'm on a laptop with 1300 mhz centrino, 2
giga ram) and I'm far away from discovering all aspects...
So lots of thanks for you all whose working on it and supporting and
making this possible.
