As usual, there will be a developer IRC meeting at the first Sunday of the
month.
The next meeting will be on the first day of 2012, which is a holiday in some
countries (mine included).

Date: January the 1st, 2012
Time: 16.00 UTC

We will discuss candidate tasks for a Google Summer of Code project.
Some old candidates are here:

Some comments:

Personally, I think ffv1 is a better choice for a lossless codec
than HuffYUV. Especially for intermediate renders, since it supports
several colour formats, e.g. 4:2:0. Colour format conversions are
expensive and lossy.

For the benefit of proxy editing, AND multi-angle DVDs, AND 3D video,
I think support for multi-track video would be neat. Track folding
or hiding would enhance the usability, and track grouping/locking
would be even more critical. Can it be done?
