That red line above the track suggests that you have background rendering
turned on, right?  Cinelerra renders to a sequence of JPEGs.  Maybe what you
see is JPEG artifacts (rather bad ones, I might add ...)

Try turning background rendering off.

Is that the original?  Because I get different blocking artifacts here
than on your screenshot.
