I would like to know if a solution has been found on the error:
virtual int FileMOV::read_frame(VFrame*):
quicktime_read_frame/quicktime_decode_video failed, result:
I get error message over and over again when loading and playing .mov
and .avi files. I also saw others getting the same problem:

I'm using CV 2.2 in OpenSUSE 11.4 and 12.1 x86_64 bit and I'm
experiencing the same error in both. When I used CV 2.1 in OSS 11.3 i686
32 bit, I experienced no such error. Please tell me what is wrong and
how to correct it. Thanks in advance.
