I'm using as many as 8 ch DS3's today in the 7206 platform, with an NPE-G1. It's usually a mix of PA-MC-T3 and PA-MC-2T3 cards depending on availability.
I've been trying to find out if there's a channelized OC (3/12??) card that can be used for this to increase capacity. So far, all I've been able to find so far is stuff in the 10K chassis, or moving up to a 7609-S with SIP-200 and 4xCHDS3 cards.
