You're running an image for the Supervisor 32. Are you sure it's a
Sup720?

What exactly is truncated? Try pasting everythin including the ROMMON
stuff. One problem I've had is that the IOS has "sup-bootdisk:XYZ.bin"
as the boot image, but the ROMMON needs to see it as just
"bootdisk:XYZ.bin". When booting, it says "invalid image" and then just
chooses the first available image it can find. (Which until I saw this
always happened to be the only image.)

When you make it "boot", it gives you the exact string you need to
append to your "boot system flash "-command in IOS.

Changing the Sup-config-register is probably only possible from ROMMON.
There, you write "confreg" to change it. Remember to "sync" before
resetting.
