For some reason, my Catalyst 2900 series (WS-C2924-XL) does not like VLAN IDs higher than 1005: sw01(config)#switchport trunk allowed vlan add 1202 Command rejected: Bad VLAN list - character #5 (EOL) delimits a VLAN number (1202) out of the range 1 to 1005. This is with a trunking interface: interface FastEthernet0/1 duplex full speed 100 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q switchport trunk allowed vlan 1,3,100,1002-1005 switchport mode trunk IOS is 12.0(5)WC8 (C2900XL-C3H2S-M). I'm pretty sure this has already been asked a thousand times, but how do I get around this issue so I can get support for the extended VLAN IDs up to 4096? -- Alex Balashov Evariste Systems Web : http://www.evaristesys.com/ Tel : (+1) (678) 954-0670 Direct : (+1) (678) 954-0671 Mobile : (+1) (706) 338-8599 _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/ _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
