It's weird because the eBGP route has an administrative distance of 20 and the iBGP has an AD of 200 and it should choose the eBGP route.

Most larger networks are run with "distance bgp 200 200 200" under "router bgp" to remove the differentiation between eBGP and iBGP, and to make sure your IGP is preferred over BGP. I'd say this is highly recommended unless you specifically need eBGP to be best.
