What IOS version are you using? There is a minimum supported IOS for this
card.

Subject:[c-nsp] Unable To Use T3 Card (PA-MC-2T3-EC)
Hi Everyone:
I am trying to install a Cisco T3 Card, Model #: PA-MC-2T3-EC, on a Cisco
7206VXR with NPE-G2. When I insert the card, I get the alarm below.
Oct 7 18:11:45.100: %ENTITY_ALARM-6-INFO: CLEAR CRITICAL PA Slot 2 Active
Card Removed OIR Alarm
Oct 7 18:11:50.220: %PA-3-REVNOTSUPPORTED: PA in slot2 (Ethernet)
requires
base h/w revision of (1.14) for this chassis
Oct 7 18:11:50.220: %PA-3-DEACTIVATED: port adapter in bay [2] powered
off.
The google info suggests this might be an earlier version of the card,
which
is why I tried a recently manufactured replacement, but with the same
result. Does anyone know what's going on, or how to fix this?
Thank you in advance.
Dominic
