I would not say ISSU (where U stands for Upgrade) is possible on the CRS-1. Updates are sometimes possible without traffic interruption, but upgrades are not. Where upgrades have anything to do with newer versions and updates are "patches" Of the last 20 SMU's provided by cisco for 3.6.2 only 11 were without traffic interruption. Real fun doing reloads on CRS-1's most take about 45 minutes from start to end.. So imagine the maintenance window you have to plan for 8 SMU's that require a reload. I regularly get flak from management why our million dollar routers require so many reboots while I told them these shiny routers could do ISSU, Bastiaan _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
