I've had a 2821 reload unexpectedly -sh ver shows a bus error as below Cisco IOS Software, 2800 Software (C2800NM-ADVIPSERVICESK9-M), Version 12.4(22)T1, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc5) Technical Support: http://www.cisco.com/techsupport Copyright (c) 1986-2009 by Cisco Systems, Inc. ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.4(13r)T, RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1) uptime is 1 hour, 7 minutes System returned to ROM by bus error at PC 0x4224F26C, address 0x1E at 18:56:16 GMT Mon Nov 30 2009 System restarted at 18:43:38 GMT Mon Nov 30 2009 #sh region address 0x4224F26C Address 0x4224F26C is located physically in : Name : text Class : IText Media : R/O Start : 0x4000F000 End : 0x43F7FFFF Size : 0x03F71000 This suggests to me hardware rather than software from Googling? The routers got its original 256Mb and an additional 512Mb stick in it - is it possible to tell if this is a memory error from this, and if so which stick might be the problem? I have no Smartnet on this, so can't ask TAC :( Thanks Pete _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
