I did get it, and what I missed was a simple: (config-subif)#ipv6 ospf 1 area 0.0.0.0 ...on the interface that is part of the ptp which needs to advertise the address of the loopback.. On the former-lacking Quagga box: O>* 2607:f118:1::ff1/128 [110/1] via fe80::215:faff:fe1d:dd40, em2.97, 00:00:15 Cheers!
