No, i think - it's just for accounting purposes.  But if your billing depends 
on it, you might have problems later.Just disable it for several seconds on all 
 interfaces and see the result.

Do you have something in output for "show ip accounting output-packets"? If it 
returns nothing, then it's not the reason.
