The 3560G are severly limited regarding buffer capacity so you'll soon encounter packet loss if you have microburst. I'd suggest a try & buy or an extensive test with these boxes to evaluate wether they meet your traffic pattern. We've seen output drops on these switches on the uplinks (2x1G portchannel) starting at 400mbit/s in some parts of our network where microbursts occur a lot. So ask for advice regarding feature sets (like ipv6 support) here, but always test in your production network before you commit buying ;-) Matthias _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
