The "bug" in dynamips would be that it works even though there is a 
perceived duplex mismatch (I'd assume that it doesn't even try to 
implement half-duplex mode on FE).

Just telling both sides to configure the interface to "duplex full"
should be enough to silence the IOSes involved.
