It may sound trite, but the documentation on cisco.com - and there's a lot of it - is going to be the best source of information on XR, along with your Cisco account team. Cisco also offers various training courses on IOS-XR. > Also i would appreciate if some one can send me the steps to how to upgrade > from normal IOS to IOS-XR on GSR. It isn't an 'upgrade', per se - it's a completely different operating system. We can't 'upgrade' from IOS to IOS-XR - instead, we completely replace the IOS operating system with the totally unrelated IOS-XR operating system, after ensuring that all linecards/interfaces/features/etc. are supported under XR. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Roland Dobbins <[email protected]> // <http://www.arbornetworks.com> The basis of optimism is sheer terror. -- Oscar Wilde _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
