Unlike the FWSM that was a completely different architecture and code base, my understanding is that the ASA-SM is simply a different form factor.
I can't really speak to the Service Module support on the 7600, but my guess would be no, as it seems the idea is that the 7600 is an SP edge device while the 6500 is a service module chassis/enterprise core device. -Pete On Fri, Feb 24, 2012 at 10:37 PM, Xu Hu <[email protected]> wrote: > First time to hear that module. > The ASA-SM will do the same functionality of Cisco ASA FW? > For the 6900 line card, NAM, ASA-SM cannot support on 7600? > > Thanks and Regards, > Hu Xu > 2012/2/25 Peter Rathlev <[email protected]> > >> On Fri, 2012-02-24 at 11:52 -0500, Pete Lumbis wrote: >> > Supported starting with 15.0.1SY1 >> > >> http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/prod/collateral/switches/ps5718/ps708/product_bulletin_c25-696622.html >> >> Ah, that's where it was.
