Does this warning extend to MiTOP[0].
Yes it does, they run the same software. But as MiTOP is for single E1, you curse and configure it once and then forget so I'd say management issues are not that important for it.
I pointed it out because it's really annoying on bigger boxes where you might make a mistake while configuring new service and then would need to reboot whole box to restore management which will also disturb all existing services.
