Hi, I made two RSPAN test-setups both using somewhat different Cisco platforms.
1) First setup: http://i.imgur.com/XFCD8.png If I send ICMP "echo request" messages from "T60" to "PC" or for example telnet to "PC" TCP port 80, then all the traffic is beautifully mirrored to "WS-C3550-24-2" port Fa0/2 and I'm able to see the traffic in "HP" machine. In other words RSPAN between two WS-C3550-24 switches works fine. However, there is no "T60" and "PC" traffic captured in "PE860" machine- only STP frames show up. VLAN 15 with "remote-span" option is configured to all four switches. Any ideas what might cause this? 2) Second setup: http://i.imgur.com/a3KjV.png As you can see, second setup is similar to the first one, but switches are different. If I make some traffic between "T60" and "PC", then "PE860" sees only IPv6 traffic! Am I doing something wrong or is this some sort of (known) bug? IOS in Cisco 4506 is 12.2(37)SG1. thanks, Martin _______________________________________________ cisco-nsp mailing list [email protected] https://puck.nether.net/mailman/listinfo/cisco-nsp archive at http://puck.nether.net/pipermail/cisco-nsp/
