The promise was that that would go away with IOS XR 5 and 
later. Of course, I was not naive to believe it :-).

Considering how easy it is upgrade a Juniper MX chassis, the 
whole process on the ASR9000 and CRS is a joke. Yes, IOS XR 
and Junos are built fundamentally different, but I'm not 
complaining about Junos either.
