Good morning,
Would anyone have a quick fix for this problem.
Outbound calls via a H.323 gateway show the connected party instead of the
original dialled number.
Have tried setting the "Always Display Original Dialed Number" to True on the
Service Parameters but doesn't keep for transferred calls.
It also screws up the display for extension to extension transfers. Ie 7123
calls 7122 who transfers to 7190 but it shows 7122 on the calling party.
Is there something on the voice gateway that could be sending the caller id
back to CUCM? This was an upgrade to the CUCM but I have not made any other
changes to the configuration of the voice gateways.
Cheers
Dana

The PDI Helpdesk confirmed the 3905 meets the ADA specs in regards to 12dB gain

Cisco IP Phones meets the FCC 68 requirements for volume gain of minimum of
12dB of gain from default factor setting. To achieve 20dB or greater, Cisco
recommends using an inline amplifier,

Hi Jason
We have heard from several clients that are having problems using the Cisco
phones (3905) with a hearing aid. Problems reported are as follows:
Volume somewhat adequate, but handset needs to be positioned at an awkward
angle.
Hearing aid cuts off while using the phone.
"Feedback" on the hearing aid requiring adjustments of the client. The
feedback does not happen on the analog phone.
This is definitely an ADA issue that we need to have solved. What does Cisco
recommend to remedy the problem from an ADA compliancy perspective.
Thanks,
CustomerX

BTW, Upgrading to 8.6.2a SU3 resolved this issue. No changes other then
the SU patch. Not really seeing a bug on this in the release notes that
stands out as problem but it's fixed.

Is there a similar command for SIP ?
I was not able to figure out a way to do this with SIP last time I tried.
